What Factors Influence Gutter Cleaning Costs?
The primary cost driver for gutter cleaning is labor, which is determined by a few key factors. The height of your home is the biggest variable; a two or three-story home requires taller ladders and more extensive safety precautions than a single-story rambler. The complexity and pitch of your roof also play a role, as steep or intricate rooflines are harder to work on. Finally, the amount and type of debris matters. Light, dry leaves are easier to clear than a heavy, compacted sludge of pine needles and shingle grit which requires more time and effort to scoop out and flush.
